Washington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine (WOSM) is a medical practice that has provided world-class orthopaedic care for over 35 years. Many of its doctors have served as team physicians, medical officers, and consultants for major league Washington professional sports teams and have also been included on Washingtonian Magazine’s Top Doctors list for more than 20 years.
To help WOSM attract new patients and build stronger awareness of its experience and thought leadership, we developed an online marketing campaign. It included a weekly blog that covered a wide array of orthopaedic topics, a pay-per-click campaign, a series of videos, an e-newsletter, and social media support. We also created a physician referral direct mail campaign and a take-one brochure.
Over a five-month period, our program enabled WOSM to attract 3,652 website visits, 203 new Facebook “Likes,” and 6,078 impressions on Twitter. Most importantly, it garnered 23 confirmed new patients for WOSM.
