Johns Hopkins Medicine enlists Channel for A Woman’s Journey marketing campaign for a 12th consecutive year
Washington, DC, May 5, 2016—It was announced today by David Franek, Channel chief creative officer, that the Channel team has been designated by Johns Hopkins Medicine to develop marketing materials for its 2016 A Woman’s Journey health conference. Channel has been overseeing the marketing communications campaign annually for A Woman’s Journey since 2004.
Franek said, “It’s been a great honor and privilege working with A Woman’s Journey for all of these years. We love being a part of an event that impacts lives everywhere and continues to grow in popularity.”
The Channel team will be designing a wide array of communications for the conference, with a special focus on a direct mail invitation package that serves as the primary marketing tool for the event. Each year’s invitation and collateral pieces feature a unique illustration of a woman’s face, which has become the branding focal point for the event. Other materials designed by Channel include print ads, posters, e-newsletters, save-the-date postcards, a registration website, PowerPoint templates, as well as various day-of-event collateral items.
Rick Grant, Channel account manager for A Woman’s Journey, said, “It’s not uncommon at all to see up to three generations of women from a single family attend the conference. Women of all ages will find information that can benefit their health and well-being. And it’s especially gratifying to see, via post-event surveys, that our work continues to be a major factor in drawing attendees and contributing to the event’s success.”
