Germantown Academy looks to agency for development of multiple branded communications in early 2017
Washington, DC, December 21, 2016—David Franek, president and chief creative officer of The Design Channel (TDC), announced yesterday that Germantown Academy (GA) of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania has agreed to move forward in working with TDC to develop a wide range of branded marketing materials. Founded in 1759, GA is the oldest non-sectarian independent Pre-K to 12th grade school in the country, and this past fall had undergone a comprehensive brand discovery and positioning phase with TDC that resulted in clearer direction on engaging prospective and current audiences more effectively.
“In recent months, we gained a deep understanding of what GA means, and what a unique experience and community it offers, to its students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni,” said Franek. “We’re now ready to apply what we learned in a brand look and feel, and messaging platform, to a host of materials that provide a unified and impactful presentation to prospective families, stakeholders, and the wider GA community going forward.”
This second phase will include creation of a suite of GA logos for various applications; a series of brochures highlighting GA’s innovation and special programs, early childhood education expertise, and new Beard Center of Innovation; a viewbook; a look book; collateral pieces centered on GA’s arts, athletics, and college counseling programs; a brand style guide; as well as consultation on the design and messaging of GA’s website homepage. In addition, TDC will coordinate photography and image selection to support these executions.
