Consistently ranked among the best pediatric hospitals in America by U.S. News and World Report, Children’s National Medical Center asked The Design Channel to develop a more captivating brand look and feel for its marketing campaigns and internal communications publications.
Anchored in a graphic motif of colorful children’s blocks, our approach instantly conveyed a child-focused outlook that reinforced the critical responsibilities of Children’s. The look and feel was employed initially to a capabilities brochure that was presented by the center’s Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation at the 2010 World Health Care Congress in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where it was received enthusiastically. Since then, our look and feel has been further refined in a brand style guide and applied to fact sheets, publication templates, presentation tools and various collateral.
