A look at the making of an animated TV spot
A few years ago, we created an animated TV spot for our long-time client Patient First. The process was so fun and interesting that we made a short film on the process. It shows how the spot advanced from animatic to casting, then to live shooting, and then to the animation process. The animation involved rotoscoping, a technique that dates back to the early 20th century but helped create a distinctive illustrated style that perfectly matched the tone of the story that was presented. Many thanks to Bandelier EFX of Albuquerque, New Mexico for partnering with us to create the unique look and feel of the spot.
