Convention and Visitors Service looks to further strengthen marketing of Arlington County’s attractions
Washington, DC, June 1, 2015—David Franek, president and chief creative officer of The Design Channel, announced today that the firm has been tapped by the Arlington Convention and Visitors Service (ACVS) to develop additional materials supporting the promotion of Arlington County (VA) to tourists and business travelers.
“We have a long relationship with ACVS and always enjoy their assignments,” said Franek. “Arlington County is a vibrant, dynamic community that offers much to Washington, DC area visitors. We’re happy to be a part of any effort to help boost awareness and visibility of all that Arlington offers.”
The initial phase of this assignment consists of developing several banner-up displays as well as an exterior wrap for a large van that serves as a mobile visitors center where tourists can get information on Arlington attractions, accommodations, and entertainment options. Additional projects to support the mobile visitors center may soon follow.
