NCTM Enlists TDC for Spring Conference Branding

National Council of Teachers of Mathematics seeking distinctive look for showcasing annual event

Washington, DC, November 20, 2024—The Design Channel (TDC) has been assigned by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics to develop a new brand look-and-feel for marketing materials promoting the organization’s Spring Conference in February 2025. The announcement was made today by TDC president and chief creative officer David Franek.

“We are pleased to help NCTM continue to enhance its interest and engagement among its membership,” said Franek. “TDC has always enjoyed the wide variety of projects that NCTM entrusts with us and we can’t wait to get started on the work for this important event.”

TDC will be responsible for designing a broad array of assets for the Spring Conference. These include creating a new conference brand look-and-feel and logo, a conference brand style guide, an event microsite, conference ads, online graphics and banner ads, presentation templates, and other collateral materials.

The conference, previously known as the NCTM Regional Conference and Exposition, takes place February 5–7, 2025 in Kansas City, MO. The event will center around the theme of “Championship Playbook: Empowering Our Students to Experience the World Through a Mathematical Lens” and focus on providing attendees with innovative approaches for empowering students to experience mathematics in relevant and engaging ways.
