Society of Interventional Radiology looks to TDC to create brand strategy and marketing campaign for clinical data registry
Washington, DC, May 11, 2020—David Franek, president and chief creative officer of The Design Channel (TDC), announced today that the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) has extended its engagement with the agency to develop a branding strategy and marketing campaign for a new clinical data registry. The registry will serve as a respository for clinical data relevant to the practice of interventional radiology (IR) in the U.S. in order to improve care quality and effectiveness, advance research, and support higher reimbursement for practices.
“We’ve had a wonderful relationship with SIR to date with regard to recent work we’ve partnered on,” said Franek. “Building brand assets and a campaign to grow awareness of this registry will be an exciting endeavor that we anticipate will increase the knowledge and expertise of IR practices in all environments and eventually enhance patient outcomes across the country.”
TDC will conduct a brief discovery phase that will include dialogue with SIR management and stakeholders, the registry development vendor, and an IR physician. Following this effort will be a synthesis of the takeaways, which will inform messaging, tactics, a visual look-and-feel, a logo, and a tagline for the registry, which is scheduled for rollout in late summer this year.
Prior to this assignment, TDC developed a multi-channel branding and marketing campaign for SIR around Residency Essentials, a comprehensive online curriculum and education platform for IR residents. Most recently, TDC designed SIR’s 2019 annual report.
