Pulse Broadband seeking a more up-to-date online presence for rural customers
Washington, DC, November 17, 2016—It was announced today by David Franek, president and chief creative officer of The Design Channel (TDC), that the firm will be creating a refreshed website for Pulse Broadband, a leading fiber technology design and construction management provider for rural cooperatives and communities. Pulse Broadband is a subsidiary of National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC), an organization serving the energy and telecom needs of utilities across the nation, and a longtime client of TDC.
“We’re excited about helping to develop a more engaging website experience for Pulse,” said Franek. “While we’re looking to establish a presentation for the website that has a familial look and feel with NRTC’s branding, we want Pulse to have its own unique aspects and features as well.”
In recent months, TDC has created collateral materials for Pulse Broadband to be featured in NRTC-attended trade shows. The new website will provide more streamlined navigation and a simpler, more graphics-based interface. It is scheduled to be online by the end of 2016.
About Pulse Broadband
Pulse Broadband was founded with the purpose of partnering with rural America to bring fiber technology to underserved areas. Since its formation in 2008, Pulse has partnered with cooperatives, municipal entities, and private groups to implement successful Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) projects. These include planning networks; designing, building, and managing them; and providing support services to help fiber-based businesses thrive.
In addition to its fiber design and construction management expertise, Pulse offers a full suite of telecom services, from feasibility studies of new networks to back office services for existing companies. This comprehensive view of the industry, along with years of hands-on experience, has made Pulse one of the leading solution providers in the rural FTTH industry.
On August 25, 2016, Pulse Broadband agreed to be acquired by NRTC, with the entire Pulse management and operations team retained. With access to NRTC’s resources, Pulse will have expanded sales, member relations, and administrative support going forward.
